Lo spagnolo Sam3, classe 1980, esprime la sua visione del mondo attraverso grandi sagome nere antropomorfe che talvolta possono apparire minacciose o inquietanti ma che hanno una grande capacità evocativa, dallo stile minimale e incisivo. Queste silhouettes fanno spesso referenza al mondo interiore, all’introspezione, e riflettono l’idea dell’artista della condizione umana. La grande e profonda figura nera in Via Trevano sembra infatti avere una visione mistica fatta di colori.

Sam3, born in 1980, from Spain, expresses his vision of the world through large black anthropomorphic silhouettes that may sometimes appear threatening or disturbing, but which have a great power of expression, with a minimal yet vivid style. These silhouettes often refer to the inner world, to introspection, and reflect the artist’s idea of the human condition. In fact, the large, dark, black figure on Via Trevano seems to have a mystical vision made of colours.

Remodelling: In the summer of 2020, the mural was damaged by renovation work being carried out on the building on which it was painted. The owners thus decided to restore the work and bring it back to life. The mural has therefore been preserved: but it now looks slightly different from the original.

Realizzazione: Tra il 13 e il 18 settembre 2012

Rimaneggiatura: Nell’estate del 2020, a causa di lavori di ristrutturazione all’edificio che ospita l’opera, essa era stata danneggiata. I proprietari hanno così deciso di mettere mano all’opera per ridarle vita. L’opera è stata dunque mantenuta: ma il suo aspetto risulta ad oggi leggermente diverso da quello originale.
